    My son who’s in grade 3 has played just about every DS game he and his friends have. He got this game as a birthday gift from his uncle who thought that he might enjoy a learning game instead. I had my doubts but I was surprised to see that he has been playing regularly. He solves many of the questions and he often comes to me to ask about a word or its correct spelling. I’m pleased to see how involved he is with the mini-games in the product. It’s kept his interest and he likes the challenge. I’ve watched him play and I noticed that he sometimes starts with the easy setting and then goes for the more difficult levels. We’re talking about synonyms, antonyms and spelling here not Mario!! I’m pleased to see him playing something educational for once. Depending on the setting some of the words are challenging for a grade 3 student but I can see them working for a grade 4 or grade 5 student. Excellent product with word games for multiple age levels.

    After investing with a reading and writing tutor, I was skeptical in purchasing this Spelling game for my daughter. Her grades were failing in litertaure class and she does not want to read with me or by herself at night. She is currently in grade 4 so I thought I would give it a try. She hasn’t put the game down since. Fun mini games keep her engaged, but also teaches her how to spell, use punctuation correctly, and makes reading fun. She just got it so I will see how her grades improve, but nothing else has worked so far.

    Bought the Kids Learn Math last year….it was a good, fulfilled my expectations as a parent…recently bought this game and have been equally impressed.

    It’s a nice exercise in gradually increasing vocabulary and spelling exercises, which allow me to help out too.
